Manufacturers holding BIS Licences are hereby informed that renewal of Licences is now being undertaken for a validity period of 5 years. Accordingly, the validity of the Licence will be extended by 5 years after each renewal. It is also informed that licensees are not required to pay the fee for the entire 5-year period in advance. The applicable fee shall be payable on an annual basis.
